Mr Wee Khang Ping is a Curriculum Planning Officer at the Curriculum Planning and Development Division, Ministry of Education. He was involved in the planning and development of the 2015 Primary School Chinese Language Curriculum, as well as the Starlight Literacy Chinese Language Curriculum used by all MOE Kindergartens. Khang Ping also provides consultation to schools on areas related to the different curricula. This includes curriculum implementation and professional development of teachers. He also serves on the secretariat for the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL) Pre-school Group. He has 14 years of experience in the Education Service.
Mdm Ju Shiying (琚世颖)
MOE Kindergarten @ Riverside
Mdm Ju Shiying is currently a Senior Teacher for Chinese Language at MOE Kindergarten @ Riverside. She has 12 years of experience in pre-school Chinese Language teaching.

Parents play an important role in their child’s learning of Chinese. In this workshop, participants will learn various strategies to encourage and support children in learning Chinese and developing a love for Chinese from young. Participants will also find out more about the Chinese Language learning resources available in the Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Portal and learn how these resources can be used to enhance the learning of Chinese among children.
