An avid explorer of the theatre and fine arts since childhood, Mr Anandha Kannan is a gregarious, animated and engaging artist. He is the Founder Director of AK Theatre Limited (Singapore), a theatre which stages plays for children; Creative Director of Anandha Koothu Trust and Artistic Director of AKT Creations. A Singapore Film Commission scholar, he is a passionate performer keen to share his vast knowledge, insights and love for the theatre with students from all walks of life. He has been awarded the International Youth Icon at the World Universities Youth Conference (2008), Best Actor in Television Actors Guild Awards (South India, 2008) and Best Anchor Pradhana Vizha 2012 (Singapore TV Awards).
நாடகக் கலைஞர் ஆனந்த கண்ணன் அவர்கள் தமிழ் மரபு நிகழ்கலை, நாடகம், கூத்துப் போன்ற கலைகளின் மீது அதீத ஆர்வம் கொண்டவர். அவற்றைக் கற்கவும், கற்பித்ததைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ளவும் மிகுந்த ஆவலுடன் செயற்பட்டு வருகிறார். இவர் AK தியேட்டர் லிமிடெட் (சிங்கப்பூர்) ,ஆனந்தக் கூத்து டிரஸ்ட்(இந்தியா) ஆகிய நிறுவனங்களின் இயக்குநராகப் பொறுப்பேற்றுள்ளார். நாடகங்களை இயக்குவது, பயிலரங்குகளை வடிவமைப்பது போன்றவற்றில் இவர் ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறார். மகிழ்வூட்டும் வகையில் கல்வி கற்கப் பல வழிகளுண்டு என்பதை நிகழ்கலைகளைக் கொண்டு உணர்த்த முடியும் என்பது இவர் கொண்டுள்ள சித்தாந்தமாகும். இவர் சிங்கப்பூர் "ஃபிலிம் கமிஷன்" ஆதரவில் பட்டப்படிப்பை முடித்தவர். தென்னிந்திய தொலைக்காட்சி நடிகர்கள் சங்கம் நடத்திய போட்டியில் விருது பெற்ற பெருமையும் இவருக்கு உண்டு. 2008-ஆம் ஆண்டில் இண்டர்நேஷனல் "யூத் ஐகான்" என்ற அங்கீகாரம் இவருக்குக் கிடைத்தது. மேலும் 2012-ஆம் ஆண்டு பிரதான விழாவில் சிறந்த நிகழ்ச்சிப் படைப்பாளர் என்னும் விருதையும் இவர் பெற்றிருப்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
Mr Anandha Kannan believes that language can be taught in many creative ways. He believes that the more we integrate arts into learning, the easier it will be for the child to understand the language. His sharing will focus on the teaching of and spreading of joy for Tamil through the performing arts. He will be using drama to inspire children to speak in Tamil. This student-centric approach is not only practical; it has been proven to engage more students. When students learn through a creative process, they will come up with original ideas and insights, which leads to improved conversational skills. Infusing drama into lessons provides experiences, which enhances the four essential skills of reading, speaking, writing and listening. Such sessions broaden communication channels so that language acquisition becomes easier.
மொழியைப் பல புத்தாக்க வழிகளில் கற்பிக்கலாம். அவ்வகையில் நிகழ்கலையைப் பயன்படுத்தி மொழியைக் கற்பித்தல் மாணவர்களுக்குச் சுலபமாக இருக்கும் என்பது இவரது நம்பிக்கையாகும். எனவே, நிகழ்கலையைப் பயன்படுத்தித் தமிழை மகிழ்வூட்டும் வகையில் கற்பிக்கலாம் என்பதைப்பற்றியே இவரது பகிர்வும் அமையும். இவர் நாடக உத்தியைப் பயன்படுத்தி மாணவர்களைத் தமிழில் பேச ஊக்குவித்து வருகிறார். இந்த உத்தி மாணவர்களை மையப்படுத்தி அமையப்பெற்றிருப்பதால், அவர்களிடையே மொழி ஈடுபாட்டை எளிதில் வளர்க்க உதவுகிறது. இதன்மூலம் மாணவர்களின் சுய சிந்தனையும் கற்பனை ஆற்றலும் வளர்க்கப்படுகின்றன. மேலும், புத்தாக்க முறையில் கருத்துப்பரிமாற்றத் திறனை வளர்க்கவும் இந்த உத்தி உறுதுணையாக அமைகிறது. படித்தல், பேசுதல், எழுதுதல், கேட்டல் ஆகிய திறன்கள் அனைத்தையும் நாடகத்தின் வழியே படிப்படியாகக் கற்பிக்க முடியும் என்பது இவரது திண்ணமான நம்பிக்கையாகும்.
