The Click-Think-Connect process brings out the joy in MTL learning by using ICT tools such as iMTL and SLS portals. This approach arouses interest, encourages learner engagement and supports self-directed learning.
Authentic materials (newspaper articles) are uploaded onto the SLS Portal to stimulate curiosity among students and challenge them to explore the topic further. Links are given to enable students to extend their learning and aids are also provided to help students to capture what they have learnt from this additional information. As a follow-up, students use mind maps on the iMTL portal to post their views.
Using these uploaded materials, students are to able check on their learning progress. This process creates a sense of ownership in students and allows them to learn at their own pace so they can truly internalise and understand what they have learnt. This approach builds confidence among students to take learning into their own hands.

செய்தித்தாள்களில் வெளிவரும் நடப்பு விவகாரச் செய்திகளைக் கொண்டு மாணவர்களின் ஆர்வத்தையும் சிந்தனைத் திறத்தையும் மாணவர் கற்றல் தளத்தின் (SLS) உதவியோடு மேலும் ஊக்குவிக்க முடிகின்றது. தங்களது கருத்துகள் மட்டுமல்லாது, சக மாணவர்களது கருத்துகளையும் சிந்தனையையும் அறிந்துகொள்ளும் வாய்ப்பினை இத்தளம் ஏற்படுத்திக்கொடுக்கிறது.
இருவழித் தொடர்புத்தளத்தின்வழி மாணவர்கள் தாங்கள் தொகுத்த கருத்துகளை நிரல்பட அமைக்கவும், தங்களது பாடப்பொருள் தொடர்பான கருத்துகளைப் பற்றிய சக மாணவர்களது எண்ணங்களை ஒன்றிணைக்கவும் இயலும். இது மாணவர்களது ஆழமான கற்றலுக்கு வழிவகுக்கிறது.
இத்தகைய வளங்கள், மாணவர்கள் தங்களது கற்றல் வளர்ச்சிநிலையைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ள உதவுகின்றன. இந்தச் செயல்முறையின்வழி மாணவர்கள் தங்கள் கற்றலுக்குப் பொறுப்பேற்பதுடன், தங்கள் கற்றல் தன்மைக்கேற்ப நல்ல முறையில் கற்றுத் தேர்ச்சியடையவும் முடிகிறது. மேலும், இந்த உத்திமுறை மாணவர்களிடையே தாம் சுயமாகக் கற்க வேண்டும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையை வளர்க்கிறது.
